What is the antenna connector on the Wireless Wiegand ?

Wireless Wiegand (WW) has RP-SMA-Female antenna connector, therefore antenna or any cable should have RP-SMA-MALE connector toward the WW device.




The beauty of our Wireless Wiegand solution is that you can connect any antenna or extension cable that your project may require. You can get them to any elevation needed. Directional antennas are great choice to achieve better penetration and longer distances while minimizing possible interference. Wireless Wiegand can cover virtually any distance with the correct placement of devices, good elevation, and appropriate antenna selection. There are many antenna choices from omnidirectional dipoles to sectors, patches and very directional yaggi antennas.  Please make sure to use good quality cable and connectors. There is nothing worse than thing, high loss, low quality cable !
