[ICON-Pro] How do I connect Door Sensor and Exit Button?
Use the wiring example shown in the figure below.
Connect the wires coming from the door sensor to the free GND and Contact terminals.
- In the settings of the Door Sensor resource, select Input - Contact and specify the OPEN condition when the event should be triggered.
Connect the wires coming from the exit button to the free GND and REX terminals.
- If the wires on the exit button side are connected to the COM and NO (normally open) terminals, in the settings of the Exit Button resource, select Input - REX and specify the CLOSE.
- If the wires on the exit button side are connected to the COM and NC (normally close) terminals, in the settings of the Exit Button resource, select Input - REX and specify the OPEN.
If the correct condition corresponding to the button connection type is set, the controller relay will be activated when the button is pressed, not when it is released.
