How should the Door Latch or Magnetic Lock be powered? Do I need an external power supply?
AIR and ICON-PRO devices use relays with a dry contact, which is galvanically unconnected to the
power supply circuit of the device. You would need external Power Supply to power your lock. We highly recommend to use separate power supply for locks and for the controller itself.
LRM devices can support external load up to 10A 12V in the impulse mode and up to 2A 12V in the constant mode of lock operation. That is more than sufficient for the majority of solenoid lock types. You may need an external relay and power supply for some Maglocks or anything else that has a higher load capacity. For your reference, we use resilient HEXFET® Power MOSFET 15A 12V in the controlling circuit of our device.

Do I need to make wired connections between the door controllers, or does each module function independently on the Internet?
Each access control unit is a network control device that can be connected to the Internet. Model variants allow you to control one, two or four doors without the need to install additional modules or expansion boards.
Each access individual control module is one door by itself, and does it have to be wired daisy change from one module to another in a building, or is it just controlled Internet-based and is considered a separate module?
We have two "control modules" options: 2-door controller and One-door module (one door controller + reader all-in-one) and they are individually wired or alternatively wirelessly connected. No other devices or computers or servers needed on site. ...
