Are there different levels of administrative privileges and roles for each person?
The system provides different levels of privileges and roles for administrators that relate to the restriction on displaying partitions and access to the system functionality.
Examples of different levels of administrative privileges and roles may include:
Super Administrator: Has full access to all system functionality and data. Can create, delete, and modify other administrator accounts, configure security settings, etc.
Site Administrator (in development): This role, once implemented, will be responsible for managing access to a specific facility or zone. It will have the power to manage users, assign access rights, view event logs, and perform other functions related to controlling access to a specific object, promising an exciting future for our system.
System Operator: Has limited access to essential access control system management functions, such as viewing and managing users and access events, but without the ability to change security settings or add new administrator accounts.
Technician: This person has access privileges that allow maintenance and configuration of system equipment but does not have the ability to manage users or change security settings.
The concept of providing personalized privileges for users is under development. It will include more flexibility in customizing access rights for individual users based on their roles, responsibilities, and context of using the access control system.
